The Coaching for Credit Quality workshop implements one-on-one coaching techniques to provide lenders with the direction they need to improve their performance. Coaching for Credit Quality teaches managers to manage the lending process by applying proven coaching skills to the credit analysis process.

Who Should Be Trained?

Coaching for Credit Quality is designed for managers who are responsible for lenders and the loan performance of their team.

Delivery Method

Coaching for Credit Quality is a one-day workshop. The course utilises current loan packages and Omega Performance's tools to deliver the coaching process. Omega Performance recommends that coaching sessions occur monthly and that each lender receives at least 10 to 12 coaching sessions after completing the credit training program.

What Is Included?

During the workshop, the coach determines which steps of the decision-making process to emphasise in a given coaching session based on the needs of the loan officer and/ or the department. The loan officer then selects a completed loan package to use as the subject of the session.

Through a collaborative, structured coaching conversation, the loan officer identifies areas of strength as well as areas for improvement in the loan decision process, and creates an action plan that sustains the strengths and supports improvements.
